About Us
Meet Chloe, the not quite so cute face of the business! Having grown up on a farm Chloe has never taken for granted how animals have helped, shaped and influenced her life. As a child every spare minute she had was spent ‘helping’ on the farm, but it wasn’t until later in life she realised that this simply isn’t an option for many children, or even adults, and so the idea of a mobile farm was born.
Studying psychology at University and living away from home Chloe quickly found herself craving that time with the animals. She soon recognised that when her workloads proved too much or uni life became too stressful it was time with the animals she longed for. So much so that she went on to write her dissertation on the benefits of assistance animals and how animals help us. Further proving to herself that there was a need for a mobile farm allowing people more access to animals to help with mental wellbeing.
Upon leaving university Chloe, still keen to work with animals, started her own dog walking business and loved the time it gave her with these four legged friends; but her passion for farming was still burning and in 2016 she was given the opportunity to work in a similar field and gain experience working with a wide range of different animals.
‘Chloe’s Mobile Farm’ became a reality in 2018 and evolved into the business you know today in 2020 when she launched on her own alongside, Wilbur, Twinkle, Bear, Jibba, Bunnos, Missy, Izzy, Lily and a number of chickens. In February of that year Digby joined the gang closely followed by Dudley in March of the same year.
Chloe is passionate about animal welfare and is proud to say that all the animals you meet have been rescued or rehomed. She is grateful to be in a position to challenge beliefs and not conform to stereotypes she is proud to be a female farmer and hopes to inspire the future generations she meets along the way. All the activities have as small an impact on the environment as possible and the aim is to always balance our carbon footprint through education and conservation.
